3rd gen here, but half a truck on a 10" rock...... Just Fing with you. I'v always had a soft spot for a 1st gen.

 

If I can dish it out, I can take it.

Like with most things, it looks bigger in person... lol

I found a rock on the side of the trail and got crossed up a bit in the ditch. I'm not even close to maxed out on either end, though.

Here's the other side (you can tell I have an open front diff, lol):

 

A 3-day camping trip topped off with a little wheeling. Really need to get my sliders finished.

I really want a white 80 series LC, but I promised myself (and my GF) that I'd drive my truck for as long as I can. I'll just have to settle for 80 series rims on my 1st gen Tacoma.

 

I sold my white 80 series LC to buy the Tacoma. That truck was really cool but maintenance and declining parts availability was taking its toll. The grass is always greener...

 

You're probably right. Maybe a case of don't meet your heroes.

 

Or just own both
