You're right, "sham" is an overstatement. But for dealerships to use "Costco price" as a starting point when you can find that same VIN at the original dealer it's sitting at, it doesn't look good.

I actually prefer the power rear window switch on the left.

I also prefer the switch on the left, moving it up by the Sunroof Switches would have been my next choice.

    Not much stock left.
I don't see this option, when I go to toyota.com. Is it based on zip code, or do you have to request it at the dealer?

The toyota site is based on zipcode. I am in the Gulf States region, it could just be an option for that region, like some of the other b.s. add ons they have.
You can buy the kit and install yourself for less.

Does anyone know more about the interior on the TRD sport or off road with premium package? Specifically the leather trimmed seats. Is the bottom and back still cloth?

The OR Premium that I saw in person had a black interior. The seats were all leather. It looked amazing.

That's awesome. I'm not able to find any with the premium and tech package.

Does anyone know the differences between a 2018 limited and a 2018 TRD sport w/ premium package (including black leather interior) and tech package? I know the wheels are different and the chrome has more chrome parts. I can't decide between the two.

I've been trying to negotiate about 8% off MSRP for a 2018 TRD Sport listed at $35,100 (Acces Cab MT)

So far no luck. They don't really want to deal until they sell as many as they can at higher prices. I'll let the buzz wear off and try again in June.

My guy says invoice is $33,700 for the truck. Seems a little high.

It does seem a little high. The costco website will tell you what the invoice is. Maybe not on the 18s yet though.

The suspension is different. The OR gets Bilstien shocks and has a more off road suspension. The Limited gets the same shocks as the SR5 and is more for street use. Also OR has a locking rear diff.

And what did you pay before tax and licensing?

Maybe I am expecting too much. Surely they want to sell as many as they can at an MSRP of $35,000 before they start dealing.

Test drove one today. It's some kind of man made leather stuff "plastic" for the seat and back. Didn't like it myself.

If I could get a 2018 for that price I would pull the trigger.

I didn't get that good a deal on my 2016. I was fairly new at negotiating and figuring out prices. I paid $33,000 before tax and licensing.
