Guardian was the first thing that popped into my mind.

Just not sure why it kicked in :(

Mine was doing it because my fuel pressure was dropping.

@Chickadee send it back. Get a 320 aem and then find your own external filter that you choose

“ Guardian is also designed to limit maximum engine RPM until fully warmed up “

Could be. Usually it takes me a bit longer to get to the end of the Alley and make the two rights to get to the main street because of having to pull the truck out and move kids around into the right seats.

This time I just got in the truck and went so very little time between leaving the garage and pulling out into traffic.

My shop is on a freeway feeder and people drive 70mph on the feeder. Sometimes when I leave work, I put the pedal to the medal to get up to speed. Guardian has kicked in a few times due to ECT being too low. Surprised the heck out of me the first time it happened. But now I know to take it easy until its warmed up.

Great so far. Just took it around the block a couple times for a 'victory lap'. I'll drive it to work today & see how it does.

    Wideband results:

Got it hooked up and took a little test drive. Interestingly it has about a half second lag between what it should be reading and what the gauge gives me.

idle and cruise is stoichiometric (proper) at around 14.7.
low vacuum, richens to the 12s.
0 vacuum to low boost, 11
    max power, 10.5-11

Considering I accelerate on a cold engine and cruise around town in the low vacuum region, it seems too rich to me (I'm no tuner, though). Even cold startup the truck is in the mid 14s for warmup. Max power at the 10.5 to 11 range seems excessive for an 8psi setup. My Subaru targets 11 for max power and it runs 20psi. Also runs 13s for AFR until about 3psi. I need to get this up to freeway speed and see what it does, but I suspect at 75mph it's richening.

BTW, my exhaust blew out carbon chunks on startup.

Yeah I get that. Not a direct comparison.

But is blowing carbon chunks and fouled spark plugs on a TRD blower setup normal?

14.7 is super rich for cruising, you don't need to be stoich when you're just chilling on the highway.
