    The thing is, I already got my frame sprayed as per ZH6. Is my truck being re-recalled?

    Looks like they are just extending or altering the new vehicle warranty to include the frame. It says not all vehicles will experience the issue of rust but just in case it does.
    So the answers is no they are not recalling your frame and if you don't have any rust issues no action is required other than putting that paper in your owners manual or with your purchase receipt and paperwork. :thumbsup:

    Good, because like I said, I actually discovered the recall through CARFAX and had the rustproofing done last month.

    If it looks good then no needed to worry. Just stay on top of the issue considering where you live.

    LOL I think that' the reason I didn't need a whole new frame! I run my truck through the car wash regularly during the winter to get all the salt and shit off the frame!

    Basically, it's an official letter from Toyota USA announcing the newly reinstated recall.

    Have it inspected again. Through my reading and interpretation you can have it inspected annually for the duration of the extended warranty period.

    Next oil change is due in less than 1,300 miles. It won't take long to hit 80K with the amount of driving I've been doing lately, so I'll have it done then!

    @Plain Jane Taco

    Was the silver 2009 RC your first Taco, or did you have another Taco or two before that one?

    The ZH6 has nothing to do with the frame being sprayed that is an entirely different warranty enhancement program. The frame spray is limited to a much shorter time period, i believe 2 years

    Bought.

    Had some life changes that required me to dump a truck for a bit.

    How long did you have it for? Did you trade it for the 2013?

    Did you buy it in '08 or '09? Sounds like you traded it right about the time I got my Tacoma!
