Haha, USPS is way worse. I surprisingly have a gps antenna and running shoes that is getting here early, but they have plenty of time to screw it up before drop off today.

I think he bought Jason’s RTT when he got the new one from the Tepui hunt.

Mine just keeps going back and forth between two. Apparently they put it on the wrong transfer van.
It was shipped with my swing arm and gas can holder. 3 packages, same destination. The swing arm and gas can holder made it Friday, when expected. This is still in limbo. Not sure how they got separated but if it’s not here Wednesday, I’m driving to the distribution center to get it.

I’ve never had any big problems with USPS or UPS. But FedEx blows. The shop I work at won’t use FedEx cause they always find a way to fuck something up

See I’ve had issues with USPS losing packages for days at a time. Never arrive when they are supposed to (packages other than Amazon stuff). FedEx seems to get it there right but they did damage some rims I sent. Luckily I insured them and they took care of me without a fuss.

Never had an issue with ups but their rates are usually highest so I don’t often go with them.

Worse than that it looks like they upped the price of their Heavy coils since they reintroduced the Mediums. Last I checked heavy coils were $230...now $280.

Opinion time, would you go for a running 1st gen but a slightly worse interior 6/10 and needing a new hood for $3000 or one needing an engine rebuild (swap) and two rust spots but 9/10 interior for $1200? Both same options and about same distance away (4 hours).

Wasn’t an engine swap already in the plan?
3.4s are prob a lot easier to find over clean interior parts.
The rust spots raise a red flag though.

Yeah it’s always been a dream, just gets pricey. I’d definitely get ORS harness to make my life easy and work with my fab friend in town to get some exhaust stuff done. Being in the bay I luckily have good access to a lot of parts yards for the misc parts needed. Would most likely just use the 99 for the donor.

They are notorious for rust but the undercarriage looked clean enough in the limited pics. Would get more detailed pics though.

Agreed. As someone who has owned a second gen with the 3.0, you'd probably want to swap it pretty soon anyways. May as well start with what appears to have the better bones

Yeah I owned a 95 3.0 auto and it was a dog. I’d be fine as it’s won’t be a dd but I’d drive me crazy eventually, especially if I wanted to take it on any long wheeling trip.

Kings ordered 10/24 and received 11/21. Not bad. Won’t have them on until this weekend though probably
