I may need to get schooled on alignment again. I thought more castor the wheel would be more forward, it further from the rear. If this is not right, I give up. I'm just going to cut everything in the way and move up the 35s.

Normally, yes; more caster is gained by moving the lower balljoint forward.
But, I suspect you have UCAs? This moves the upper balljoint rearward to add caster.

Caster is based on tire size. Stock caster is 2.0; 35's would require 3.0. You're at 4.6/4.1.

:annoyed:. I'll try it again with less castor. Thanks!

But really, I need 37s to just go and match my castor.

Do you have SPC UCAS at their max setting?
Otherwise, less caster means moving the lower balljoint rearward.
    Spec on wheels?

I can't remember right now, I'll check in the morning and am pretty sure they are maxed but I do have SPC UCA.

Those wheels add 2" of poke and about 1.5" of positive scrub radius. The outside of the tire is swinging in a greater arc; it's movement forward and rearward in the wheel well is greater when turning.

Only rub is minor when wheels are fully turned and they hit the inner fender.

RLMoody, your truck is my inspiration to get a 3rd gen, i like the simplicity of the look you got....its impossible to find a red SR with the 2.7 Manual near me...only ones i can find are the grey and white ones

I spent 2 months looking for mine. All I could find were white SRs. I located a red one in Norcross Georgia and was ready to go there and pick it up when another turned up in Columbus Ohio 2 days later just before I left to get the one in Norcross. I live near Akron. I just wanted a red or blue base truck with painted bumpers and rear sliding window. Thank goodness for the internet because I was on line every night looking at every Toyota dealers inventory with a days drive of here.
After I got my truck I added the tires and rims and through Tacoma World I was able to pick up a TRD grill, Limited fog lights and the Tacoma door emblems for less than $200 and some trading gasser nats 2017 115.jpg gasser nats 2017 115.jpg . As of right now I have $25600 in it. I think it messes with other Tacoma owners trying to figure out what I really have. Another reason I went with the SR was because I did not like the wheel lip extensions they put on the other models.Mine is an automatic. Keep looking and make sure you get what you want. Good luck!

It could be the old school wheels.

IMG_1698.jpg I have similar wheels and it give the truck a whole different look.

Do you mind providing details on your lift components and height acheived (front and rear)?
    Thank you.

285/75/16 pro comp at sports. 4 wheel parts had buy 3 get 1 free on them so I pulled the trigger. With spyder trax spacers I have zero rubbing issues. Didn’t even have to chop the cab mount.

Front is bilstein 6112 set at notch 5/6 with a 1/2” spacer.
Rear is bilstein 5160 with Dakar heavy pack.

No rubbing. Didn’t need to trim or cmc.
