    I had a Gen 2, V6, MT 4x4 - It got totalled after two hail storms. Went to a Gen 3 V6 AT, 4x4. Have to say the Gen 3 is a better vehicle. Yes the engine/tranny pairing is the weak point - but it pulls my 1500lb camp trailer easier, it is quicker, and it get way better gas mileage. Just wish the aftermarket parts (gears, super charger,...) were as cheap as the Gen 2 are now.
