I have just scheduled my frame recall treatment for my 2010...and also some expected service, including a leaking (weeping) high pressure metal line from my power steering
I am pretty sure I need:
Brake Cable,
Timing Belt,
Ball joints,
Power Steering high pressure tube,
Oil change
Oh and a bolt for the skid plate that snapped off and I couldn't drill out when taking pictures for the power steering leak...

Who wants to play gue$$ the kick in the gut cost for all this when I get an estimate friday and then the actual cost...I'm hoping it doesn't eclipse $2,000...the perfect christmas season gift...money spent on your truck for all that shit you put off...

 

I’m a little irritated right now. Earlier this week I had to put a new power steering pump in my Our 13 Subaru foreskin. It’s only 4 years old!! Less than 100k. Mind you the car has already had a new motor! Well she just called me and said the motor just started growing when she turns. Sounds like air in the line, but I flushed and bled the system and it ran for a week no issues. I don’t have time to play with it tonight so I’ll have to put it off till maybe friday at best. The question is how did air get in (if that’s the issue) or what else is broken!

My Taco has spoiled me! Why can’t every vehicle just work when it’s supposed to!

 

Are there any "shiny trucks" at the NTC events anymore? Or all crawlers?

 

Is your frame getting replaced? If so you will at least get the brake cable lol.
