    DGAF. Did it in 2008. We were having mission degradation on the C4 circuits, and after doing a bandwidth utilization we noticed that 75% of our network traffic was Internet sports sites. Blocked them all - and suddenly the command and control shit worked again.

    Got a phone call from the base commander wondering why he couldn't hit ESPN anymore. I told him, he backed me up 100%.

    My own squadron commander then ordered me to unblock it, and I stated "General Wells has already approved the block."

    Major Dickhead was PISSED!!

    At the end of that assignment, my unit was ordered to write me a decoration; they didn't want to because I kept refusing to follow orders to do illegal shit.

    Dude told me I was using excessive bandwidth on the network. He asked if I was running antivirus. I said no I'm on a Mac. I'm also quite aware of the clicking on shit and other shit related to excessive usage. Said I can assure you there isn't shit on my laptop causing that. Said he was getting connections to Argentina and New Zealand. Only thing I can figure is my old VPN I used to run went apeshit and tried to connect to shit (Even though I'm not a subscriber anymore). He had IP blocked me. Said it started at 0900 this morning. I said that's funny because my laptop has been off and didn't access the network till 1100 when I printed something then shut it back down. I deleted the old VPN software. For any future usage though I know to connect to a US or Canadian based server though if I ever use one again.
