    Thats pretty much what I'm going for. Got a lower sitting here all lonely, i want to put together the cheapest upper i can because its gonna get run hard and shot a lot hopefully. Doesnt need to be super accurate or anything special.

    Bushmaster, like sister companies Remington Arms and DPMS, have seen their reputations and quality control take hits since they were acquired by the Freedom Group. Are they a bad company? IMO no but they are not the same company that they used to be.

    I would go with a spray in or roll in liner. If you don't mind paining and will do all the prep properly it looks great and will last forever.
