Good afternoon. First post to the site and thought this would be a great place to start.
I just bought my TRD Sport Double Cab Long bed this past weekend from a dealership outside of Richmond, VA.

    MSRP $38,083
    Discounted down to $33,180
    Paid 35,200 Out the Door

    Congratulations brother!

others can comment on this but your MSRP seems outrageous. I could be wrong.

    Wait... MSRP $38,083
The $41,083 was on a different model.
Still, I thought it was a great deal.

38,083.00? Did you buy at Beverly Hills Toyota/Porche or something? Never seen 38,000 sticker on a TRD Sport.

    Welcome to TW!

i think the better deal was on the financing than on the truck, but, there was year old trucks with close to 30K miles for close to what I paid for a new one!

By the time you add a long bed, 4x4, Tech, premium, navigation and JBL to a double cab sport or off road you're getting close to 40k msrp, then add the little port/dealer add on and your at 41k real quick.

Purchasing within a few days.. Brand new

2017 Tacoma TRD Off Road DCSB automatic 4x4 in magnetic gray metallic

No options other than the all weather floor mats (did not want the premium and tech because I don't need/like the sunroof etc)

    MSRP: $37,033

Out the door (in Maryland - tax, tags, title, etc): $35,000

Good/bad? Lowest price I've gotten out the door with quite a bit of searching..

Nothing to do with you on this but I was curious to see how this dealership operates so I looked to see if they have the same model code truck as mine on their lot. Toyota site and the dealer I bought from listed mine as 35,400 MSRP roughly, same model code truck roughly the same options was listed as 38,400 by the dealer you bought from. Bastards fluffling prices to cheat people into thinking they're getting deals.

Seems about average for our area, i was quoted right around $36k out the door with P&T. Taxes kill us in Maryland Since its based on the total car value instead of the trade in difference price.

Just picked up mine last night. Not counting taxes, title, license, and doc fees, cost was $34,838 for a TRD Sport Doublecab 4x4 6MT w/ Premium & Tech, V6 tow, mud guards, d-rings, all-weather floor mats & sill protectors, and roof rack. Sticker for the same was $38,346, so right about 10% below sticker.

Two other dealers in the area I talked with were nowhere near as good- one said that they don't discount from sticker on Tacomas, the other offered up the same Tacoma without the mudguards, d-rings, floor mats, or roof rack for $36,000.

Hi all. Been lurking on the site for a bit, but this is my first post.
Seeing all of you post about you loaded TRD's, I thought I would lower the bar and post about my recent purchase.
2017 Taco SR 2wd - 4 banger, had to settle this time for an Auto Trans

This is my 3rd Tacoma, and I've always used them as commuters (I commute to work about 600-700 miles a week). I drive them into the ground - take care of em' and they'll last.

This one MSRP'd for 24.5k with markups making it 26.2k - (Convenience Package, all weather mats, - and $995 process/handling fee!!!!) Yeah right!
Anyway, dealing with the Internet sales at Stockton Toyota was better than the Main Floor. They're off in their own little building - reminded me of the old Fleet Dept. No double talk.
I set a flat 23k amount. They said "no can do". I said you have a lot of 2017's out there and I'm doing you a favor (poker face).
They relented at 23.5k before T&L.
I don't know if that was any kind of a deal or not, but I needed something pretty quick - and I'm liking it.
I've sunk another $290 into it with the factory wiper delay and the Homelink Mirror, purchased from members here.
    Awesome forum.

    Cheers
