Another good deal place is slickdeals.net. there are some serious deal hunters on that site. They have categories at the top and you can set alerts for stuff you are interested in. In this case, laptops

 

I'm looking for a computer to run those programs that I mentioned earlier. But I have no clue what to buy to fill that need

 

I have the kids wednesday through next week, although im sure she will want them to come over to see them after shes off work on Thanksgiving.
I have no plans for myself. Probably watch football or go on a long walk.

 

What type of firewall programs? Also, not sure what ceh is. I only know of software firewall programs that run in Windows, etc, or hardware firewalls that run on networks.

 

sounds relaxing. and hopefully that means you can get some good quality time in with the kids.

 

like labs. like training aids. ceh is certified ethical hacking. I need to be able to run labs for school.

 

Any time I can spend with them i am grateful for. Starting Monday ill have em mon-thurs, and every other weekend. So ill have the majority of the time.

I guess now I just need to try picking up the pieces and move on. Just dont have any idea where or how to start.

 

I totally get that.... that's awesome that youre going to have primary custody of them.

and I dont think you need to really have a plan on how to move on.... just let it happen slowly and gradually. ya know?

Ah ok. Ive dabbled in the pentesting stuff a long time ago, but just enough to get my toes wet. Everything ive ever done was all on windows, so you should be fine on a windows based system. If you have courses that require computer equipment, they should have a minimum requirements listing either with the syllabus or elsewhere on the course description page.

 

Now that is a subject matter I wouldn't mind getting into. Maybe actually use some of this IT knowledge I managed to gain over the years.

 

Thanks, appreciate it. Im not much of the type of guy to go pick up women at a bar or club, and im not really looking for a relationship or even a one night stand right now. Eventually ill start looking. Nice man Im all tagged out in WV with gun and bow. Shot a old heavy 7 point Monday. Now I'm still butchering them up.
