Never crockpotted before... Any of y'all do cheese grits? Not the insta grits, the real ground grits... Curious as to how to do them in a crock pot

Waffle house has bacon/sausage egg and cheese gritz and they are awesome. Ask for the egg over easy or they scramble it and you dont get yoke all soaked into ur grits

I do this nearly every week, too. 1 or 2 breasts in the crock with a seasoning sauce, low for the day, then easy protein for several meals. Shredded chicken tacos, enchilada's, burrito, throw it in with a box of kraft mac n cheese.

I have to say when the army dropped this SoCal surfer dude in Augusta, Ga, grits were a real culture shock. I have had so many tell me they make grits and cook catfish the absolute best in the world. Can't do it, I know I am probably missing something but those two things just won't go down.

    Made some spiked cider tonight.

I used mulling spices, apple cider from the grocery and some cranberry juice. Leave it in the crock for an hour then add some wild turkey to the mug when you serve it.
