Funny story to relate, Isaac is 14 and in heat, straight sex on the brain. Our tv is Bluetooth, etc.

He sits in his room and watches YouTube a lot. So last night we are watching tv and YouTube suddenly pops up. The video is called how to eat pussy like a king. His mom freaks and yells to him what is he watching. He said basketball highlight videos.

She tells him to come in there, we see the video on the screen pause and he walks in. We point at the tv and his face turns the darkest shade of red I have ever seen on a human.


Naturally all I could do was laugh as he wad in a panic trying to turn the Bluetooth off on the iPad. In fact I still laugh thinking about it

 

Serious question though. Did you watch the video yourself and did you learn anything?

 

I may or may not have made the actual video.



But no, we didn't watch it. Hell I am old and had no clue there were even videos like that on there

 

Our oldest refused to poop on the potty until we bribed him with several Lego train sets (5-6) he went from refusing to do it to going on demand to try to get another train car...once that happened it was like a switch flipped. He went from diapers right to underwear. (He has only ever wet the bed once during the night, ***knocks on wood***, and it was very early on in the process). Although now he has started pooping on the carpet to "get our attention" when he is angry or in time out in his bedroom. (Acting out due to the arrival of the new baby). But that just shows me he is now the master of his own bladder (and sphincter) as Sheldon would put it. But moral of the story is positive reinforcement is key. Our pediatrician says kids don't understand negative reinforcement until they are much older anyway, so using it just complicates things.

 

They will give you cues when they are ready. Trying to do it before they are ready is an excersize in futility! No need to feel like it is a keeping up with the Jones thing. Some get it sooner than others. Mine is 3 1/2 and has been potty trained now for at least nine months. My friends kid is 2 and doesn't even walk yet. They all develop differently.

 

Believe me, YouTube is not as kid friendly as most think. In my line of work, you won't believe what I see drug out of the deep dark corners of YouTube....

 

Yeah, I am going to try and set up some kind of restriction, just not sure on what to restrict. At least with the videos he isn't coming to me and asking me to show him how.....lol

 

Holy shit secret Santa! Just got a brand new set of At The Helm bed stiffeners.

 

I need to check the mail.. although the person claims I make too many BS posts..
