    What’s y’alls take on this...

A local graham cracker stout. I’ve had once before on tap and really liked. Saw the 4 pack so I snagged it up. 1st beer tasted a bit different. 2nd beer I noticed this in the bottom of the can. Yeast sediment? 3rd beer I tried rolling it around to get it mixed up... Didn’t taste as good as the 2 before.

Either way, the beer was much better on tap!

I'll let one of the brewers in here chime in but looks like left over particulates. It's very common in sours (I realize this is a stout) but it has no affect on the beer. You don't want to drink it as they don't taste great. And that's why you should always pour your beers in to a glass and poor slowly. I almost never pour out the last bits of my beers anyway

I've never brewed a stout before, but it looks like trub to me. If so, I would say that's some pretty poor brewing technique... That should have been taken care of before the canning/conditioning process. But like I said, I've never brewed a stout so I could be wrong.

Appreciate it... On the 4th one, I’ll try to pour slowly and not disturb the leftovers.

hmm... could have not been done fermenting or it wasn't canned properly. I've had a couple times where i got to the bottom an there was some trub left... probably just a one time thing. Everyone that brews has a bad batch... I won't mention one of my IPAs that gave people headaches....haha:anonymous:

@Dgibson529 Here it is. Quite good. Doesn't taste like an 8.2% beer.
@siznarf I think you may like this one.

It was only me second one this week. I’ve been trying the local craft beer mostly.

Although I just picked up some three Floyd. Pics in a half hour or so once they cool down. (All the beer here is sold not cold, so weird)

I think my bro in law is, or has already, picked up some craft beer for me, for when I get down to WV!

Driving down today, hoping to leave by 3pm EST. It's a 10 hour drive. Just waiting for the wife to get home from work (school teacher), then picking up the oldest at daycare, youngest at the inlaws, and off we go!

    Hops are interesting. Almost chocolate-y

    Not a big Gin fan...but...
I am a Schnaps fan. No, not the fake stuff they sell here, but the real deal. It's in it's own family of booze and is distilled from five types of fruits.
For some reason, not imported into the States.
I have a limited supply I acquired by bringing it back myself or having friends bring some back.
My favorite and it's from Austria.
A local told me, if it's clear, your liver can't see it.

    Mmmm..Marillenschnaps.

I enjoy it. Beat Pliney for best IPA this last year.

Although (like Pliney) there are better IPAs out there.

I just happen to be visiting my inlaws in Indianapolis... So it’s easy to get and I drink it.
