Yep. That's it cracking internally. It'll get worse and worse and lower and lower until it won't even hold up.

That's what I've been told, but it's been like this for almost 2 years now. That being said I rarely use it anyways. If it falls like yours I'll probably just throw some velcro on it to keep it up.

Mine got so bad flopping around one weekend in Death Valley that it lost all tension..I got hangry cuz I was also hungry and tired that I ripped the damn thing off which of course made it even worse. Plus I lost the two original screws pretty much at the same time.

But I fixed it because I wasnt ready to be raped by the dealership that day.

Here's my floppy sun visor mod..

Pretty sure that was the same weekend my tail light kept popping out every other mile..

Those may be the worst washboards I've ever been on. Something always comes loose on them!

And yeah, there is no way I'm paying $150 for a new

Literally. I called a dealer to price them and the guy was like "damn! These suckers are expensive!"

You too huh... I asked gunny over at camel back Toyota for a quote and got 174 and change each for them. I wanted to switch from my cement color to black. I also got the same answer from North Hollywood Toyota about my headliner. My 3rd brake light is leaking on my turd and they need to replace the brake and headliner. I asked them if they could just put in a black headliner.... they say nope can't do it, got to order by VIN number. o_O

While we're on the topic of floppy sun visors I should mention a couple overlander morale patches work great to hold it up

I also need to fix my floppy sun visor

I keep meaning to visit a pick-a-part and hope that the visors can be found intact. I keep telling the woman I'm gonna pull that shit off and I get a dirty look. I had no driver's side one for awhile but before the time changed (since she drives the truck) she made me put it on as it was too blinding driving East in the AM.
I'm beginning to consider alternatives... Even going as far as thinking about some velcro solution actually.
