I have 0 complaints. Light output is fantastic in my opinion. The only time u can hear the fans is when you turn off the truck until the lights go off you can barely hear them from inside the cab more when u get out.

Good to know. I'm very tempted to try the VLEDs. Install was easy?

Anytime. I found the license plate lights to be the most difficult to install and that’s due to your hand size lol. I couldn’t hardly squeeze my hands in to get to them.

Agree on the license plate lights. I almost gave up but was finally able to contort my arm/hand into just the right angle to twist and pull. BTW, what'd you use for reverse lights?

The VLEDS. I was hesitant to spend $40 a bulb on those but I went ahead. Glad I did they are very nice.

Found 'em. Thank you. Were they easy to install? Did you need resistors or was it just plug-n-play?

do you have any fog lights? curious to know what bulb would match these headlights best. Also how easy was the install on these lights? did you have to take the housing out or could you just plug them in ?

I did the new rear turn signals and brake lights from VLEDS while I was doing the reverse lights and no resistors needed.

No. I just put mine in today and there is enough space to maneuver with patience. You have to make sure the bulb is oriented correctly. Flat sides correlate with the position of the leds and they have to be perpendicular to the ground. Leds have to be oriented sideways, otherwise the beam pattern is not focused. First impression is a significant improvement over the OPT7s. I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow. I put the OPT7s in the high beams. Not sure about that. The stock h9s throw longer. Maybe a better h9s is the answer.
Has anyone tried high beam specific leds or improved halogen h9s?

I did Osram Night breakers as that was all I could find in stock locally and they are decent, but I’m running HIDS so the main difference I see it my throw is way down the road on signs etc.

Personally I figure my HIDS are good for 2-3 years and hopefully by then the next gen LEDs will be out and I’ll go all in and finalize my LED conversion then.

Anyone been able to change out front marker bulbs without taking the headlights off?

The first picture is the OPT7s. The second picture is the GTR3. The difference is more than what is seen in the pictures. The GTR are more focused. These pictures were take on a downslope. The throw of the GTRs is significantly better. I find myself using the highs less with the GTRs. I drive backroads before dawn everyday, Usually drive with lows and fogs on.

    a lot
I'm getting closer to being 100% LED converted. Recently I swapped out the front turn signals and reverse lights.

I was impressed to not have hyperflashing and the reverse lights are awesome!
