let me know how your mileage is with that v6. I have a 90 ext. cab v6 auto, and my mileage is horrible.

As far as I can tell all is stock, I just purchased it and it ran rough I have changed the MAF,air filter, Trans oil and filter, New rear driveshaft from hanger bearing to diff. all fluids are good. I got two tanks worth of info making 10mpg. I have the factory size tires and the gears are 4.10. I find that my RPMs are high seems my overdrive may not be kicking in correctly.

Thats what I was figuring, but I didn't have anything to compare it to when I got her she ran like shit. Now it is alot smoother but still not right.

Sorry that it took so long for me to respond, it has 187,800 and some odd miles. Already had the head gaskets replaced, new plugs and plug wires. It idles smoother now but has a vibration only when in Neutral. I've been trouble shooting this for a few weeks now but have achieved very little. I suppose it may still have to do with the overdrive not working properly, but if the engine runs bad it may cause the trans to opperate incorrectly. I have gotten it to start shifting much better but still feels off. I would like to get the rpms that an auto makes at 55mph to see where I stand.
