    Not much stock left.
@mtip, one more question. Are you planning to lift your truck? I'm curious how all the new safety "stuff" is going to work. I'm looking at the '18 Taco as well, but the dealer told me they aren't going to be lifting any of the new Taco's b/c of the camera in the windshield and the radar do-hickey in the grill. Claims it won't line up properly with the added height, and Toyota doesn't have plans to do anything about it. I find this hard to believe, but that's what they said.

Other's have claimed it won't be a problem and have seen '18 Tundra's that are lifted, but I haven't heard any concrete response to this question.

    Cheers!

That's strange. I ordered a 18 TRD Sport 4X4 with a manual in Sept. I got a build for Nov 21 (today) and it will be delivered around Dec 15th.

Not in the immediate future. I'm sure by the time I'm ready, there will be some great "builds" on here by some talented folks that have figured it out. All Toyota has to do is tell them "It can't be done"

That sounds more like what I was expecting. Not sure if it has anything to do with me telling them originally that I didn't want any added items like the Premium or Tech packages. I understand from reading on here that the trucks are built how Toyota wants them specced, and you choose from that pre-determined list. So maybe the 1st runs are more equipped with the extras and the more plain TRD''s are further down the line. I certainly don't know for sure, I'm just trying to rationalize having to wait a couple more months. I'm in GST region. What options on yours & your region? Hope you enjoy your new ride & let us know your reviews on it.

Finally see that the 2018 is opened up on the official site to build. Kinda a big bummer to get the tonneau cover I have to jump all the way up to the $4000 package! Why isn't the cover just part of the accessories to begin with???

Yep! I'm kinda getting that feeling. It would be nice to have it loaded but I cant see jumping to the $40k mark yet. Give me a couple hours tho...

Toyota build website only allows you to build what's available for sale in your region. Try another zip code.

I'm up in Canada. I ordered my truck with no add ons. When you order a TRD Sport with the manual Toyota upgrades the truck at no additional charge with leather seats, dual climate controls, upgraded head unit with nav and a sun roof. I'm not sure if that configuration is available in the US. The truck is also being built in Texas.

Leather is a Dealer add on unless you buy the Premium package.

On my order information the CZ5ANM which is a TRD Sport 4X4 double cab short box gets the free upgrade which they refer to as the "TRD Sport Upgrade".

Anyone know if the leather and jbl (premium package) only available for the 4x4s? Or was someone able to get the premium packpackage for 4x2? My dealer said they can do it for the 4x2, but wondering if that's true or not based on what you guys are getting. Thanks!
