will a 2011 base model 4x4 2.7l lsd fit a 2005 preener?

    aftermarket headlights and tail 2016 wheels and trd exhaust.
    im trying to buy a used lsd rearend for my 2005 4.0l prerrunner, and asking for help in figureing out if an lsd diff from a 2011 2.7l will fit my 2005 prerunner i can see the gears will not be optimal but other than that will it fit…?

    Tacomas after model year 2008 don't have a real LSD. They have "auto LSD", which uses to brakes to simulate a real LSD.

    so i would need a hell of alot more than just the rearend and basically wont make economical sense.

    You'll have to find a rear end from 2005-2008 Sport models. Shouldn't need more than that.
