Opryland Hotel Conservatory is pretty cool this time of year all decked out for Christmas. If ya go I'd park at Opry Mills Mall and walk over so ya don't get hosed $20 for parking. Not to be cheap but $20 is $20.

Nice. Thanks. I’ll look that up to see what it’s all about. We’ll be flying in and doing Uber’s so parking’s not an issue

Might help a little bit. I'll pass though because I have to use my 4wd a lot for things besides offroad trips. My friends and managers love to get their trucks stuck in the back of the woods somewhere trying to drag out logs and shit haha. Stuff like that and getting asked to pull trailers through the muddy back fields behind my church are pretty common, so I need my 4wd always ready.
One day I'll get hubs. Or at least another daily haha

I've heard of them but never looked. Wouldn't I have to buy the whole truck if I got one from them?

If ya'll wanted to do the whole "touristy" thing you could book a General Jackson riverboat trip along with it. Otherwise just hang around downtown and I'm sure you'll find something to get into. Also if you've never been to a Predators game at the Bridgestone and they're playing while you're in town it's a guaranteed good time.

Yea but usually you can get it pretty cheap, take what parts you need and part out the rest. And between eBay, Craigslist and tacoma world, you could make your money back and some. That is if you wanna spend the time on it and have a place to keep it. I know I'd prolly be one of your customers depending on what you got.

Tempting. Problem is most of the vehicles on there are up north and would have to be transported here or I'd have to drive up and trailer them. Probably not worth it for me. Would be a good place to buy a project vehicle though

Nice. Thanks for the tips. Good place to start from. Last January I was in LA and went to a Kings game. That was a blast so I may need to check out a preds game!

Theres several breweries. Yazoo, blackstone, jackalope, and more. One of my all time faves is brewed at jackalope. If you end up there you have to get a “love bird”.

Are you driving the turbo’d monster out here?

Thanks for the brewery tip. It’s always tough to know where to start when there’s so many to pick from.

I wish we were driving the truck but I can’t off enough time to be blue to drive. So we’ll be flying in and ubering around town

While I work on the outskirts, I don’t go to “Nashville” often so I don’t really have many tips. However, if you’re looking for a good greasy lunch. Gabby’s Burgers is freaking amazing.

I recommend the house burger (not on the menu) and sweet potato fries.

Yea, not if you have to travel. But keep an eye for Tacomas in your area and you never know when one will pop up. I missed out a truck exactly like mine except it was 4x4 and a TRD OR that had been side swiped but still ran. Didn't have the money at the time and watched it sell for $750 at auction. I ended up paying about $1500 for my whole swap and I could have gotten out much cheaper and with a lot of extra parts, including locking diff. Just check the Memphis location about once a week. Eventually a salvage tacoma will end up on the site.

Gonna be spending turkey day with our immediate family in the woods away from any source of media, internet or cellphone service. A flickering wood stove, some board games and deck of cards the only entertainment. Wanted to wish y’all and your families a very Happy Thanksgiving! If you are looking for good craft beer here are my favorite breweries in Nashville in order.

    1 Southern Grist
    2 Bearded Iris
    3 Tailgate
    4 Jackalope
    5 Tennessee Brew Works

If you are looking for Taprooms I suggest Hops and Crafts and The Flying Saucer

A lot of breweries are within walking distance in "The Gulch"
