    Hey I remember I believe when I was looking to buy oil filters or something someone was saying something about some of the filters come with a seal for the drain plug or something of that nature. Anyway I noticed the last few times I change my oil I smell to some oil and when I look at the plug right now there's obviously he leak not bad not fast but I hate leaks. I think when I looked at the drain plug last time there was a washer on it but can't remember if it looked funny or anything like that. If they if the filter came with a pack of seals do they need to be changed that often or anything? And if I don't if I didn't get any SEALS or whatever I guess I need to go to the parts store and just get them

    Ok thanks. Do they have a rubber or something on the seal that wears out and will be evident when it's time to change it? Or you just change it if you notice it leaking before you get ready to change the oil?

    They normally don't come with the filter. I throw them in with filter purchases because they should be changed every time.

    I didn't mean to say they came with the filters. I bought mine. They weren't "thrown in"

    No big deal Gary! You've taken care of me regardless. I appreciate that. I have enough oil filters to last me a few years! ;) At $3.58 a filter. The price can't be beat! Same with those LBJ's & 8 bolts! OEM for life! Also I don't think you charged me. I had some before I had ever ordered from you in the 1st place. I think they were from Amazon or something.

    Sorry I don't know why it's taking an eternity to upload a file but I think those are garden hose washers that was in question LOL. Just so happened that I had 10 yellow ones and that there were 10 filters when I bought them in the box. I was thinking damn that I forget to use those

    In Post#2, there is a picture of the oil drain plug washers. There are certain ones for you diffs too.
