Hey guys! Just looking for something fun and cheap I might be able to take off roading or do some car camping when I don't feel like rocking out in the Tacoma.

We all know some of the older 4runners and early gen Tacomas are either rare or with a high price tag but didnt know what other vehicles may be decent at doing some of this stuff.

    Vehicles I've been kicking around:

    Older Subarus
    AWD RAV4
    Older Nissan xtera
    Older Nissan Pathfinder pre2005
    Older jeep Cherokees

Trying to keep a budget of 5k or less. Just wasn't sure what you guys may think.

85 Toyota pickup. Solid axle, will take you anywhere and it's fuel injected. Gets on average 20mpg

Yes amazing vehicles, I agree. But honestly, how common are these?

I must admit I haven't really looked for any of these. Figured it was like searching for the holy grail
