    Because I was inverted
Honestly, I was a little shocked. I've heard of these unicorns but never thought I'd see one. I was going to snap one, but for some reason i didn't. I saw him inside from the drive thru and was confused, I thought he was army, then he turned and was like, oh he's a marine wearing his dress blues (red trim), mock collar, obviously no tie. After we got our food, we pulled over into a parking spot because if my 2 year old daughter could string together full sentences, she would have said "I've had enough of this fucking car seat!". So I ran inside the slowest McDonald's on this side of the Mississippi to get some coffee...a second one because the first was room temp....as was the second, different story. And there the guy was, ticket in hand waiting for his order. Didn't think much... until I saw his combat boots....with his dress blues bloused. Then I realized why I mistook him for Army because his ranks were 1st Sgt ARMY. In his collar he wore the US army branch pins (at least he got the enlisted part right), not the marine corps emblem. He had a chest FULL of ribbons, like 7 tours worth of badassery and looked like a yard sale. I didn't get close enough to see what they were. His pants were not the right color blue, they were wrinkled, and had a yellow faded stripe. Now, I have buddies that served across branches, but this was wrong on about 100 different levels. He had no cover and was the worst mishmash of marine/army I've ever seen.

He went and sat down with two guys that had white shirts and ties, I don't know if they were selling shit or what. For the record, I didn't serve, and I'm sure if I had I would have been pretty confrontational here. I do have to say though, his jacket was crisp and hair was high and tight!

P.S. I almost hit a monster 8 point in VA with the wife's new Highlander

Morning y’all. I’m getting in my first plane ride in 13 years later this morning. Kinda freaking out but probably just going to get drunk on a plane.

    Happy Thanksgiving folks!

I think lack of knowledge with these guns is what’s holding me back as far as building one. It would let me get hands on experience and would benefit in the tear down to clean part too. I guess I’ll do some research and see if I can get a parts list for a lower build.

And I looked at ghost firearms the other day and liked their color options vs psa.

Nope! I have no experience with these guns except shooting one once. I’m leaning more towards the AR-10 so I can get the .308 but a 300 Blackout is still in the back of my mind. I don’t make too many shots over 100 yards when deer hunting.

Edit: I have noticed that there are a lot more sales and customization with the 15 platform though.

Considering trading in my kahr cw9 for a taurus pt111 g2. Both have long trigger pulls, i am ok with that. That seems to be the big gripe on the taurus. More capacity on the taurus, 12+1 vs 6+1 on the kahr.
