Got up and carved the brisket this morning and messed around the house making sure everything was ready to go for the wheeling trip tomorrow. We ate around lunch time and then watched Netflix and napped. Finishing up laundry now so I can pack clothes and then it's time for pie and more relaxing. It's been a really low key day and I'm glad I didn't kill myself making tons of food like I usually do. It was nice to get to just enjoy the day.

Seems Black Friday starts today at some places now

 

Its been like that for at least 5-6 years. I worked retail and it used to piss me off having to come in and work Thanksgiving. I always was the manager assigned to open the store for Thanksgiving and Black Friday because I didn't play any of that "lets trample each other" bullshit.

I would tell the line outside the deal and that we expected good behaviour and had PD on hand to escort those off premises who acted up. Never really had a lot of issues other than one lady the first year almost knocked a stroller over being a dick. PD snagged her ass real quick and dragged her out kicking and screaming. After that little example things ran smoothly.
