I've always liked the ride of 2wd trucks. They are more comfortable on the highway and they get better mileage.

Whats the use of having a truck if it's not a 4x4? Well I'll tell ya, I had a 4x2 dakota some years back. I wanted the truck lifestyle, I even put bfg's on it. First thing out of my buddies mouth (who at the time drove a first gen Taco that was built up) was "you know that's not 4 wheel drive, right" I was like "dude, do you think I would buy a truck without knowing.

Not really giving any weight to a comment about not having 4x4 from a guy who lives in Florida.

Wait, I’m the only one from FL who posted in this thread? Was this for me? I have lived in quite a few different states, NC, AZ, FL to name a few. There are a lot of places to use 4x4 in FL, it’s not all Disney and beaches.

I've owned a few trucks in my day. None have ever been 4WD. Never needed it. I don't wheel or anything like that.

If I need a little extra bite in the rear end...I just throw on my DTs. And I only throw those on if it snows pretty heavily.

    It’s tongue in cheek. Haha.

@Rattletrap66 is my brother and lives in FL. I had a buddy in Clearwater who passed last year and I fiddled a chick in Pensacola.

I thought it was funny. I imagined a truck up on blocks with no wheels/tires on it.

I think people are still missing the joke.....

@Boyk1182 has nothing against prerunners whatsoever, but someone called them a 0x0, so if that's the case, it physically couldn't move. :facepalm:Hence his joke.
