Came in from hunting. Saw no deer, saw alot of squirrels. Turkeys were making a lot of noise. I guess they have a lot to be thankful for, not being on a serving platter, yet! :hungry:

Ok. Don't do what I did. It appears that last year I drained (upside down) my deep fryer pot and somehow didn't wash it. I store it upside down and it was on the back patio where I keep it, but somehow it didn't get washed. So I just spent the last 2 hours scrubbing, boiling, scrubbing and boiling the pot. Usually when I'm done cooking I'll drain then boil, scrub, rinse then boil it outside on the burner...20-30 minutes.

    Lesson learned.

    That looks real good, Kevin
Damn. Add $3 to the front of it, and that's what we pay now.

Did that latest gas tax kick in? I just paid $2.24/gallon here which is about par.

I guess I'll start hauling our fuel trailer back into Az. We have a diesel trailer with 2-100 gallon tanks plus about 50 gallons worth of jugs we supply to one of the camp hosts so they can operate generators, pumps, weed trimmer, etc. The cost difference and the time to bring it back across the river was negligible before. Now there's definitely a difference.

Happy thanksgiving everyone. Wife has 2 turkeys in the oven this year. She got pissed at her dad who is generally a real shit to her, and he was shitty when she took him to the doc last week, like usual, so she got pissed and hasn't talked to him since. So, she woke up this morning and got the idea to make him his own small turkey and take it over earlier. Since her mom died we haven't eaten thanksgiving or christmas together because when the bird is done she takes his over. I eat alone. And he always bitches because dinner isn't when he wants it. This year she said screw it. We will see how it works. Fingers crossed:fingerscrossed:
Off for a few days. Got some things to take care of. Truck got put down for the week, so Im taking a different one out of town for the week. Not thrilled, but what am I gonna do?????
Guy who drove it quit and went to work for the old boss. He smoked and the guy who drove it for 3 years before him smoked cigars. It is disgusting inside. Im just gonna have to deal with the suck for a week, hopefully it will just be a week.
I found a REALLY sweet truck. I just don't know if it will be around when Im ready. But Im seeing some really nice ones, so hopefully will find one when Im ready.
I called the company @snoope turned me on to, but Im not sure they will work for me because............Canada.
Nothing against Canadians, I just don't do Canada. They are full up with drivers right now anyway, and they said they were going to have more trucks coming in next year, and their recruiter wasn't even there over the holiday's, so Ill just wait till after the new year and holler at them and see what they have to say.

Well Mom said she wasn’t up for anything but my brother is there with her. She has a full takeout family dinner but got home and didn’t have anything left. She’s been down with allergies stuff for about a month. I was going to have to make 1-1/2 hr drive to her place and then to mil place. She said don’t bother so I got a nap in. Talking about dead ass now.

Still not dressed. Washed clothes, leaving in about an hour to pick up mom, going to my brothers for dinner and drinks...wife is the designated driver.
