Can anyone tell me if the front tie downs (in the front lower part of the bed) strong enough to secure a sport bike, because there are just attached to the plastic bed. Anyone have any issues?

I believe They are strong enough. I don't have any experience in this, but I got a friend that might. @eccracer104 @beachbum5812 @ItsRichieRich do you put your bike in the bed hooked to the tie downs?

I plan on it. Hate to have them fail.

There are 6 total you can add. And 2 already near the tailgate. So in all you could have 8. And they go into the frame so don’t need to worry about holding.

Perfect! Only thing that sucks is that I'll have to remove the bed mat to utilize them.

I wouldn't call it plastic. It's composite. The same as my 2ND gen. Much better than sheet metal.

Either way it will crack and i wouldn’t trust it holding a bike down.

The front tie down hooks are rather strong. I'd feel safe using them with a sportbike.
Also use some canyon dancers, and straps to secure the rear down as well.

    Mine isn't a sport bike but I haven't had any issues....yet.
The first time I used a cleat near the front but now I use the loop at the front passenger side of the bed and the D-ring at the rear drivers side. It's a long bed so those loops are lower down than the short bed.

I do like they way the other guys added those D-rings, I'll definitely look into that.

ive used the front tie downs on the forks, and the rear tie downs to the frame to transport my fz07. worked fine for me.
