Nice! I know some that bought TRD pro's might not like that they offer Cement in non pro models but I sure am glad Toyota did.

Finally figured out the difference. You said MSRP of 35180, that is for the Access Cab. I'm looking at the Double Cab 6ft bed, thus the MSRP of 36725. Plus dest fee and tech package, total of 38490.

Dealer is offering 1k below invoice, 35540, so roughly 3k below MSRP.

Of course they say invoice is 36540. And I'm pretty sure I saw an invoice list on this site, showing model 7568 invoiced at 34023.

Doesn’t it! When i found out the cement color was available for 2018, there was no way I was gonna get a 2017. I was willing to pay the extra money just to have that color. Glad I didn’t though. Lol

A new 4X2 SR5 Long bed 100% made in Japan only cost $6000 in 1979.Virtually the same truck today made in Tijuana with cheap third world sourced parts now cost $36000.A 500% increase yet median wages have only increased by 300% .

The erosion of the dollar and middle class buying power coupled with " Globally Sourced" parts , cheap money , massive debt and rigged trade policy's only benefits the first in line feeders at the top. Creating a record number of Billionaires the last 8 years has been very expensive for the middle working class.

I remember that truck. The Bluetooth sucked, RCTA wasn't very reliable and the ATRAC left me stranded multiple times.

    Oh Toyota Dealer Advertising.
I will look more closely at my sales contract when I get off work and see if I can find it, I didnt remember seeing it.
I did pay about 440$ in DMV fees plus 3300 in tax. Some small misc fees that I'll have to go back and double check.

Isn't invoice $34640 with destination+mats? I mean all the quotes I got had a Toyota direct advertising fee on it. I'm just working the numbers because all the sites I've been on Edmunds/Costco has some weird invoice numbering

Not true. I added prem&tech to mine. You of course have to request the change before the allocation is actually built but none the less. You cant change the trim/model but you can change any of the options.

I may have paid the tda and just not realized it, or the dealer may have somehow fudged the numbers on the invoice he showed me( I should have kept it).
Either way I feel like I got a great deal by getting $1800 off of the msrp and I didn' have to wait another 2 months.

My brother is shopping a 2018 Taco to replace his "totaled but woodsworthy" Jeep Wrangler 5 speed. I'll post up here when he starts to price the new truck.
