Lifted '16 Tacoma's on 255's, about an inch smaller than what you're looking for. Decent for reference.

I too have 265/75/16s. I haul a small travel trail and additional gear regularly. Because of the 265/75/16s I don't want to lift the truck More than 2"-2.5" in the front. I don't mind a little rake, but don't want the stink bug look when the truck is unloaded. How is the load carrying ability of the standard or "light" dakars compared to the stock 3rd gen leafs? The lights or heavys with the leaf removed are the top choice for now.

Old post I know but do you have measurements on this? I have a DCLB that has 265/70/17's and want to do a lift, I am just not sure how hight will be too much with this tire. yours looks real good!

So that's a 3" lift 3" in the front with 4" in the rear. If it was done again and I would have stayed with the 265's I would have ran 887 coils with a leaf taken out of the back pack, for 2.25" in the front and 3" in the back. If you wanna run 265's on a long bed I'd run the 887's and the full leaf pack. I've got 888's and the full leaf pack from OME. The 265's looked ok, but I knew the 285's would make it look imo correct.

I'm waiting for my 885 springs they're going on 5100s. No lift for the back. Might have a little bro lean going on. Was thinking about 285s, but 265/75/16s are sounding better

265/75/16 Quite happy with them. Will be going to bigger size rim though once I eat up the tires.

6112's. 5160's and a AAL. Roughly around 2.5" of lift after settling.

I run 285/75/17's with 2.5 in the front and 1 in the rear. They rubbed at full lock backing up at angles and I had to trim up front. I ended up doing a body chop as well.

I ran 285/70/17's with 1.5/1.75 in lift in the front with no rub

Will this size tire fit in the factory spare tire mount location?

Looks great! What setting do you have the 6112 at?

    I am guessing top?

    1/4" spacer for lean?

Most important how is the ride compared to stock on and offered with the 6112 at the setting you have it at?

It’s set to the top notch. 1/4” spacer on driver side for taco lean. The ride quality is vastly improved over stock shocks on the street. Off-road I can’t give you a comparison over stock because I never took stock off-road but it performs very well off-road and I’m happy with the set up. Only regret I have is the tire size I chose.
