:rofl::rofl:Welcome!! I like how you just jumped into a taboo topic, when you’re new. Rock on!! But, yeah, you have to keep the RC on your own time. Apparently it’s the one hobby we’re not allowed to discuss in the DFW BS thread. I think we are reserved to talking about babies, fords, guns, beer, how big of tires we can fit without lift, but heaven forbid people talk about RC’s.... o_Oo_Oo_O :anonymous:

What a silly thing to care about. I can talk about fords all day though, I’ve had 3 of them lol

I think the issue with RC talk is that we were reading 3+ pages a day of RC talk, with everything else lost in between. If one specific topic completely takes over, it is probably best to make a separate thread for it.

    Had a productive morning today.

Picked up used rear 5100’s from @mx355, to complete the set.

Received Lone Wolf tall bed bars transported by @Misplaced Nebraskan (thanks again for transporting) and sold by @06TXED.

    Picked up cajun fried turkey.

Replaced dealer license plate frames with plain black ones.

Put in fasteners behind front mud flaps that don’t come from factory on Tacomas that don’t come with flares.

Redid a tree ring for a lemon tree (currently just a plant).

Cut out a couple of surface roots from Oak in front yard.

This is a BS thread. This isn’t a dedicated topic thread. If there’s 3+ pages of ANY topic, then it must be a common interest among multiple members.

Hahahaha. This is awesome for so many reasons! Good and bad though....
This is one of the bad reasons...
This should be the attitude to have when reading internet forums, also somethings you just have to ignore and move on.

Happy Thanksgiving, y'all! I went to my cousin's house for family time and found out her husband is a Toyota guy too.

He said the green one was supposedly custom built/reworked in South America and was 6" wider than a normal FJ. It had some giant 3" wheel spacers to make the wheels almost flush to the body. It was pretty cool, but he said it felt really underpowered. If he doesn't sell it, he's going to put a bigger engine in it. The other restoration project will be all stock with the exception of a disc brake conversion in the front.

I think he was asking $25k. Not really sure if thats a good price or not. He's had it on eBay twice, but the buyer flaked out after the auction.

Just going through the pics from Bridgeport, and didn’t realize how deep that puddle really got, lol. I’ll try to have them all uploaded today or tomorrow.
