Yeah, Toyota did a good job with the cement color. I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot of TRD ORs in cement next year.

They painted the front snotty bumper cement. Also they don’t itemize things so well. Also also, I wouldn’t pay 14 k for it. I’m sure some joker will though.

It will be my color in 3 years, but I will be in a TRD Pro. Provided they still have the color in 3 years. Magnetic Grey has been around forever, so maybe.

It's not a bad looking Truck. I am sure that color will grow on someone.

Just looking at the pics I can't stop focusing on that non function hood scoop. To this day I don't understand people's fixation with it or why car companies make them. They serve no real purpose. I want to fit in with everyone else and like them too...

I hate it as well. When I get my Cement TRD Pro, I will put a Cement TRD Off Road hood on it. I’m not a scoop guy. It’s a damn truck. Scoops go on high end sport cars that actually need a functional scoop for engine cooling.

The Tacoma engine is nowhere near powerful enough to need a hood scoop. lol

Hate to break it to you but it is already not available on the pro, it is now only available on the off road and the sport as of 2018 model year.

I don't mean to be a dick but I really don't understand how anyone could blindly order a brand new truck without at least running through the "build your own" tool on Toyotas website to figure out what each model consisted of and what options/colors were available for each. 5 minutes on there would have saved you buying the wrong truck in that you would have known the difference between a pro and a sport and already known that only the pro came in cement (at that time).

Well, Mr. I don’t mean to be a dick”, it actually is available. Just not in every region yet. I called Toyota to find out if it was still available for the TRD Pro. I can build a TRD Pro in the 2018 in my region. Do some research before you smart off to someone. You can’t build a lot of stuff on the site right now depending where you live. Some people can’t even see more than 2 color options for the TRD Pro and only 1 trim color. I can’t build a 2018 TRD Off Road in Cement right now in my region. Some people can’t build a TRD Pro manual in their region, but it is an option. It’s because they are still updating on the sight and they are behind in builds from people who ha e ALREADY ordered. Once they catch up, you’ll be able to go on the sight and build any TRD Pro available color. Change your username to “boxOFrocks!”

Cement is not available for the 2018 TRD Pro. The three colors available are Super White, Midnight Black Metallic, and Cavalry Blue.

Don't get your panties in a twist, I'm just pointing out that facts. I also wouldn't recommend calling others out for "not doing any research" when you yourself quite clearly bought a truck without doing the research, it's not helping your case. Back to the original point, I am well aware that the website is still in the process of being updated with the new model year info in certain regions but regardless cement has been discontinued on the pro and is now (as of 2018 model year) only available on the sport and off-road models, this is old news that came out a couple months ago.

Also, nice sneaky edit you did there. Ya I can see your original message, and then the edit minutes later where you quickly toned down your wording...

Frankly, I don’t give a damn what you say. I clearly stated earlier that it was my mistake that I didn’t double check when I bought my truck. You are just one of those people that say “I don’t mean to be a dick”, but secretly you really enjoy it.
Again, I called Toyota myself and asked about a TRD Pro in Cement for 2018 and they said I could order one. I was on the phone for about 30 minutes total. In fact, by 2020 they said they were planning on having a TRD Pro’s own section of the site that you can build and order a TRD Pro Tacoma OR Tundra in any color that is offered in the line. And if it happens to not be offered, I can order it in a TRD Off Road with leather seats. No big deal. And yes, you can order leather seats in a TRD OR in 2018.

Regardless, you have a total of 30 posts on this site and you come in here acting like you are the HMFIC at Toyota basically calling people idiots.

And as an FYI when I was talking to my neighbor yesterday he told me he actually told me that Cement Grey was only offered in the Sport. So I read his text right and based my decision off that.

Yes it’s still my fault, but I’m ok with it. If you want to keep making posts being a dick, I’m ok with that, too. You won’t be around long.

Whatever dude, you clearly know more than me because you have more posts and you have a special inside connection to Toyota corp through your local salesman . Feel free to keep believing everything he tells you rather than looking for yourself, because we all know car salesman are the pinnacle of knowledge and trustworthiness and would never spew nonsense to try to make a sale... When you get your magical 2018 cement TRD pro that Toyota has specifically said is no longer offered but only you alone seem to be able to order feel free to come back and prove me wrong and I will eat my words, until then good day

If you could actually comprehend what I post, that would really help. My neighbor, (the finance manager) is the one that text me the wrong info. The wrong info was that that Cement color only comes in the TRD Sport. That’s ALL anyone at my local Toyota dealership said in regards to the Cement color. That’s all I have ever mentioned. I’ve never said a word about a salesmen.

When I called and inquired about the Cement color on a TRD Pro for 2018, that was actual Toyota Corporation, NOT my dealership. I seriously hope this clears everything up for you being you seem so worked up about it.

Wow the butthurt is strong with you, and so is the misinformation, I'm starting to think you would make a good car salesman

I do not believe for a second that you called Toyota corporate and they told you that you could get a 2018 TRD pro in cement. Not after all of the information they have released in the past couple months that specifically says otherwise. There are dozens of posts on this forum discussing this (which include official options lists from Toyota) as well as numerous articles from other sources not that you would bother actually reading them. This is not new information, it is widely known.

If you can provide some proof to the contrary feel free to do so, otherwise it appears you are making things up to try and save face, or just to make yourself feel better about your mistake. Then you try to call me out for not knowing what I'm talking about because I only have 30 posts, lol dude you've been here a month, get off your high horse and go cry somewhere else. I know I don't know everything but some of us spend more time quietly reading and doing research than posting left and right blabbing about things we don't understand. Most of the information is right here in front of you if you just stop talking and read.

Again, I don’t care what you believe. Not at all. And you are under the impression that I’m upset about my mistake. I’m not. I’m fine with my current truck. I’d anyone is butthurt it’s you.

I didn’t equate your 30 posts to the amount of knowledge. I was equating it to someone who is new and already acting like a “Dick” as you put it.

For someone who reads a lot and posts little, you do not comorehend worth a damn.

Don’t respond to this post. Just go back to “reading” and not posting.

The Toyota regional person at my dealer said the cement will not be available on any 18 pro model. Calvary blue replaced it, which is what my brother ordered on his 18 4Runner pro. If they come back with cement, that would be wierd, and piss a lot of people off.

If that’s the case, I’m not worried. And I it would piss more people off if they didn’t bring it back. Toyota can call it Cavalry Blue, but its baby blue. Not a color I would think of on an “Off Road” vehicle. I know some don’t like Cement either and that’s ok. At least you can still get the Cement color. That’s all I really care about. I’m good with a TRD OR premium in Cement.
