It's Black Time of Year Again 2017

Wow, well that sucks! Agreed the "unknown" shipping is kind of risky (hence my call this morning). It would have added an additional $180 or $250 if I also got the Deaver leaf packs. I am going to keep looking, I think that just the lack of effort to make things right just really rubbed me the wrong way - but I guess that is how some business' are these days, especially with the crazy Black Friday deals. All-in-all, I just got a better deal on the wheels ($649 for all 4 from 4WheelParts with free shipping and no sales tax). I am still looking for the suspension stuff however, I sent a few notes to some other vendors with great reputations here on TW - pending responses. I hope you got a chance to take advantage of some other deals at least!

 

Customer service is everything. I don't mind spending a little more to get taken care of.

 

I agree 100%. To me it wasn’t a big hit because I wasn’t planning on purchasing much due to other places having better discounts. I’d check with Battleborn Off-Road.

 

COMPLETELY AGREE. I really have only heard great things about Headstrong and Battle Born and Down South Motorsports - so between the 3 of them I am sure I will get something worked out!

 

At least you heard from them i ordered last night and got the discount price on all 3 items Chase light mount ,ABS guards, and pillar mounts . Then order went into wait for shipping amount and i haven't heard anything back. I know its probably hectic today but its a small order so it shouldn't be that difficult to place a shipping cost on it i am a return customer so they have all my info on record . All my other orders over the past year have gone really well. So i guess i play the waiting game on the pricing if they change it back then i will just decline the order!

 

Yeah, I had to call about 2 times before I actually got a call back - however for shipping quotes it might be worth it to call...maybe. hahaha. Hopefully everything is on the up and up for your - if not I am sure another vendor would be more than willing to make a loyal customer out of you!

 

I hope you get a break on the shipping with it not being a big order and being a returning customer for your $40-$50 savings. Otherwise, I’d definitely decline the order. However, to some, people would say it is a $40-$50 savings regardless of shipping because shipping would be there anyway regardless of the Black Friday sale price. Customer Service is big and regardless of the order size, it should be #1. Especially from a TW vendor.

 

I think its closer to $30 for my order. Will see what happens.

 

I’m going to be ordering ADS suspension through @Downsouth Motorsports! Too bad I have to wait til Monday and talk to them about coil lengths and what not

 

So just completed my order 3 items discounted price total $186.88 a total savings of $46.47 then shipping $14.50 = grand total savings $31.97! Its done its a discount i will take it! I did have to reorder everything they had no record of my order from last night.

 

@Wheeler's Off-Road Inc did free shipping on my icons I assume it would be the same for the dakars.

Kinda had my heart set on an Aussie. Supposedly they are very easy to install and very highly rated for doing what you want both on and off road. Spartan as well. But I'm more open minded on BlackFriday! Who has Powertrax and Detroit on sale?
