    They have 2 versions. I got the handheld version which downloads your factory ECU file and will replace it with a different tune. Once the tune is installed no need to keep the tuner installed full time. Only one vehicle per license, so I can't just run around and load tunes on people's trucks without setting mine back to stock. It uses premade maps to start and they are eventually tailored to your truck. They have a diy tuner version which would require a knowledgeable tuner and Dyno to test and tune.
