Modded it so much it turned into a 4Runner
3" lift on 35's. Only had to do CMC and beat the pinch weld.

I've said it before, I'll say it again, that color looks the best with extensive mods. The stock ones I see running around are goofy, but that looks good. Once I move outta FL, going to a similar setup.

    I'm a big fan of Pizza cutters & K02's. Too bad BFG's don't have the 255/80 16 or 255/85 16 size. :annoyed:

Clean man. Front level is perfect height for those tires. Would of needed another inch for the 33’s. Looks perfect

Thanks man! Agree... I was looking at 285s and adding 887s but I decided I’d rather keep some MPGs as I drive a lot and tow a lot of boats as well.

Looks great, good decision. Still rocking 265/70/17 myself and couldn't be happier. Did you do AAL in the rear? I am getting a shell soon and debating putting one on. All stock for now, will be getting 5100s like yourself soon.

Nice rig.. ya I do too much towing to run 285s. I’ve seen first hand at what big tires on a tacoma + towing, going downhill and trying to stop for a light... well you can’t quite stop AT the light.. you kinda have to go right thru it because ur brakes don’t work cuz they’re too hot .. :/ ooops. (A friends 2nd gen)

Rear is a 5100 and toytec 1.5” block. I’ve read a lot of things people say about how “blocks are bad” and blah blah blah... I’ve never had an issue and I do a lot of trails/camping/snow. Quite a bit of off-road type stuff and never have had an issue w blocks on this truck or my 2nd gen. Anyways, I was going for a certain look and wanted exactly 1.5”, and with an AAL or New leafs, they can’t gaurantee an exact height increase.

Rides like factory :) and yes, the canopy dropped the rear maybe .5-.75” im guessing. So 1.5” on the rear and 3rd notch on the front and it is perfect stance imo.

Yeah the brakes get hot and overheat for sure I am going to have to upgrade the brakes next

I do tow on occasion added sumo springs to the rear and they help stabilize the ride. I love the truck all and all but yes you are correct the brakes overheat

also added weight of winch bumper tent and fridge plus gear strains the brakes i got the suspension figured out with the sumo springs but brakes are next
