I ordered mine from "areyourshop-a" and it arrived 4 or 5 days later. China to Texas. It was $140 shipped, and the quality is hysterically good.

I didn't take many pics of the process as I threw it on during a break in Thanksgiving festivities. Here's a couple of shots of it to show how it ended up. Took me right around 30 minutes from start to finish, and only broke one tab on the old grill. All tabs intact and fit perfectly on the new one. Not bad!

I need to get my windows tinted...which type did you use and did you do the front windshield? They keep saying doing that really helps keep the heat down,, not sure if that's true. I'm getting quotes of like 500-600.

Why'd you put on the kings, does it make that much of a difference?

I tried to order a grill today from a 100% feedback ebay seller, but a few hours later I received an email about China Post limiting large packages until the end of December.
The seller refunded my money. Anybody else run into this issue?

"hello, friend, bad news, from 20th Nov-31th Dec, china post limit big volumn item shipping, it means all our grill can not ship out , because it size over their regulation, we have already remove all our liting, before we send to other customer all is reback, not allowed export, we can only refund your full and rwmoved this losting temporary untill 31th, dec. we are so sorry for this. sorry"

Not sure how mad but I expect to see some "make offer" tags on some of their ads. Especially those with too much inventory asking over $450. There has to be 35 to 40 sellers of authentics asking over $400 with shipping. Then theres probably 25 selling the faux from $105 to $300. I expect in a couple of months you can buy one from a Toyota dealer for $300 cutting their profits back to a mere 200%.

I'm not a car guy nor painter and not used to using masking much. I assume it's a common practice but I didn't.

Those who plan to swap the grille, make sure you mask the fender piece below headlight as I scuffed the area.

Did you do that because you were working around that added push bar. Seems like it would limit you from simply pulling the grille and surround straight out like others.

I would be correct in saying that your letters come out of the middle? You didn't have a picture of that but it looks like it with the four screws.

Got mine today after ordering from Motorfansclub on the 13th. Haven't installed yet, but no tabs broken and it looks as good or better than I expected. Will update when installed. FYI - this version has the TOYOTA as one piece that needs to be installed in the grille with 4 screws that are provided.

Correct! I didn't do the best job documenting, but the insert + 4 screws took all of 1 minute and are completely solid once installed. I'm very pleased with the grille.

I ordered from Motorfansclub on the 20th. The tracking info is showing estimated delivery on January 9th.
It might be the same issue.

    Cheers
