Brake pedal is soft, truck brakes fine just requires a lot more push at the pedal. Do I need to rebleed them? Thanks!

Update: bled the whole system again and the pedal is still soft and there is a little vibration it seems in the pedal as well! Help please! lol

There is either a leak somewhere or air in the system. Sorry but those are really the only two options. What method are you using to bleed, that might give someone and idea if something else could be in play. Clean every fitting and bleed nipple well with brake cleaner and a rag so it is without a doubt clean and dry so you can check for even a slight weep. GL.

In a perfect world - just a little more than snug - the mating surfaces are designed to seal right up to each other. Reality often rears it's ugly head and they need to be tightened to where you're hoping they don't strip before they seal. That's why everything needs to be clean and dry so you will know weather you problem is a leak or air.

I feel like the rears are so tight. i went on a test drive after bleeding them again. Wiped everything down and letting it sit now. We will see if there are any leaks.

Are the bleeders up? I know dumb question but I’ve seen them down (upseide down) and they won’t bleed and will stay soft

Yeah I put new lines on mine and have bled them multiple times....super soft compared to my buddies 2012

I gave up and now the soft pedal has become “normal” in my mind even though it still sucks lol

You can take to a shop and have them bleed thru a scanner too, will tell where the air leak is if. Any, my snap on Solus does this when I hook up and bleed them thru the scanner

I didn't touch anything besides the brake lines. Brake pedal felt perfect 4 hours ago and now the pedal is super soft and I don't like it.

No. Only rear brake lines. That's it.

No. Only the soft brake lines. I installed the rear wheelers extended brake lines. That's it. Didn't touch anything in the front, and nothing in the drum or in the rear other than the soft lines. These are what I removed.IMG_4244.jpg
