Ooh. My pops is bending my ifs skid back to its normal design. Hes also adding another layer of steel to the outside. He offered to do 1/4 inch but that fucker would be waaayyy to heavy. Gonna do a 3/16 reinforcement . might do the other pieces as well. Gotta get ready for the rubicon next summer

Dude I had one 3yrs ago. It fucken sucked.

Slept sitting up in the couch the first night cuz I couldn’t lay down. In the morning my (then 2yr old) runs up gives me a forearm straight to the nose while I was sleeping. Buckled me on the floor screaming at the top of my lungs. Worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life.

    Hope you feel better bro.

Had that surgery when I was 13. They also trimmed my turpenoids. Originally, it was supposed to be an adenoid removal surgery... In retrospect, it was probably a food allergy that caused the nasal inflammation. I could barely breathe through my nose before the surgery. 3 glasses of whole milk a day. It was the 80's and no one connected the dots back then. Totally unnecessary surgery for a kid. Still had congestion throughout my life until I drastically reduced dairy.

They shoved about a foot of gauze up each nostril to stop the bleeding. A week later, pulling out the balled- up gauze was like this:

    Hope you feel better Ferny!

Those plastic things stitched against the sides of the septum? That was brutal. They did that after removing the gauze. Pretty sure they broke my septum during surgery. Fucked up shit in the 80's.

Thanks! Wouldve been fun hooking up but I know you had shit to take care of. :boink:

Had a quick 10min rain cell that pushed through about 5:30 this morning. Wasn’t bad but enough the get the tent pretty wet. Now I got it opened up in the driveway hoping it’ll dry before it rains again tomorrow.

I've know two people who've gone through that. It sounds like getting hit in the face with a hammer would be preferable.

I broke my cheek bone, upper jaw and orbital bone mountain biking for a total of 9 fractures. The trick is to fuck up the nerves bad enough that you don't feel any pain but not too badly that you don't recover any feeling and look like you've had a stroke forever.

I'm sure we'll find out sooner or later.

Got one on. Welding upside down in low light sucks.

I'm going to do 1/4". However I'm going to put mine together like the belly pans on a high track 5 or a 527cat. Just not sure what to do with springs yet.
