Didn't mean to creep y'all out - just normal forum-watching using search. We have a bunch of customers and installing shops (like Ken at Gear Installs and the guys at ECGS) that support the brand, so we just like to see what is going on without crapping up the forums with self-promoting stuff, not our style.

In fact, the only reason I even posted was that we have offended some by not posting info about our sales, which only happens once a year.

No data mining, no potty-cams, just plain old user tools :)

@thefatkid is our local gear guru and has the trust and support of the local community.
Maybe if you hooked him up with a set up to evaluate it would increase your colorado market share provided, of course, that you have a quality product.

Do you make lockers for our front diffs?

    Got your attention, right?!?

    SOME EDITS/ADDITIONS

    Great suggestion, much appreciated.
PM SENT TO HIM, WILL REPORT BACK - LOVE TO MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN, BUT WE HAVE $0 PROMO BUDGET FROM THE MANUFACTURER. WILL FIND A WAY IF HE IS INTERESTED :)

Quality product? Yup. As noted, almost 500 sold in North America in last three years, no failures.
DISCLOSURE: YES I AM A VENDOR/DISTRIBUTOR, SO TAKE MY COMMENTS WITH A DASH OF SALT. THAT SAID, MY PARTNER IN THE BUSINESS ALSO HAS A BUILD SHOP - VALLEY HYBRIDS - IN STOCKTON, CA. HE HAS SOLD MORE ARBS THAN HARROPS OVER THE LAST 20 YEARS. AS HE SAYS "THEY ARE BOTH GOOD, JUST DIFFERENT."

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN HARROPS, SHOOT ME AN EMAIL TO INFO@CRUISERBROTHERS.COM AND I CAN HOOK YOU UP WITH SOME HAPPY OWNERS.

On fitment, Harrop offers elockers for all offroad Toyotas, including Tacomas from Gen 1 through current models. Rears as well with limited exceptions: they have a 10.5" for the later Tundras about to be released, plus the new Tacoma rear (8.75") does not yet have a Harrop. This listing shows models, tho there is a misstatement (shows fronts only through 2015, which is incorrect, gotta fix that). Also, Toyota went BACK to an 8" in some models - we can help with a Harrop elocker for those later rigs. https://www.cruiserbrothers.com/harrop-elockers/toyota-tacoma-1995-to-2015/

THE EATON/HARROP ELOCKER OF TODAY GREW OUT OF HARROP'S ROLE SUPPORTING EATON AND TOYOTA IN THE OLD TRD FRONT ELOCKER OFFERED YEARS AGO. WHEN TOYOTA DROPPED THE PRODUCT, HARROP SAW AN OPPORTUNITY AND REDESIGNED THE OLD 2 PINION UNIT AS THE CURRENT 4 PINION DESIGN. IT HAS BEEN IN PRODUCTION FOR 8 YEARS WITH GOOD RESULTS.

UNLIKE OEM ELOCKERS WITH EXTERNAL RELAYS, MOTOR, ACTUATOR ROD, THE HARROP HAS A RING MAGNET THAT SERVES AS THE ACTUATOR - NOT MUCH TO GO WRONG VS. BOTH OEM SYSTEM AND AIR SYSTEM. WE HAVE HAD ONE CUSTOMER THAT SNAGGED HIS ELECTRICAL LINE AND PULLED THE WIRE OFF OF THE CONNECTION TO THE MAGNET. NOT SURE HOW WELL SECURED/PROTECTED THE LINE WAS, BUT WE RECOMMEND A QUICK-DISCONNECT CONNECTOR CLOSE TO THE DIFF HOUSING TO AVOID SUCH DAMAGE.

FINALLY, IF YOU LOOK AT THE NEW REAR ELOCKER OFFERED BY TOYOTA IN THE TACOMA, IT IS PRETTY MUCH THE SAME DESIGN AS THE HARROP - INTERNAL RING MAGNET AS ACTUATOR. SAME THING FOR THE NEW FORD RANGER - I SAW AN EARLY EXAMPLE IN MELBOURNE AND FORD USES THE SAME DESIGN. NOTHING ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSING TO SERVICE, MAINTAIN OR REPAIR.

I do like the idea of having a front locker with no airlines or compressor to deal with.
I'm assuming I would need an A10994 for my 2012 offroad with stock gears?
Any grinding of the housing needed for that one?

But you need a better compressor anyways.

Yessir, if your stock r&p ratio is 3.73, A10994 is correct.
There is minor grinding to clear the magnet, but it is not a major operation - see page 14 of the instructions here https://www.cruiserbrothers.com/wp-content/themes/cruiser-bros/images/Harrop_Installation.pdf

One thought for high elevation, low-temp wheelers: The Harrops are preferred by some folks under such conditions. Case in point - a friend of ours just purchased a Harrop for the rear of his 200 Series. He lives in Siberia and after three years of frozen air lines, is replacing his air locker with the Harrop elocker.

Don't know if any of you guys up North follow the geopatch map, but looks like someone dropped a patch in Walden at the gas station (not Corkles) wish I was up that way this weekend.

I was going to leave the geopatch in steamboat but figured a bit off the beaten path was more fun

It's a fantastic idea, I need to get a few to place around. I haven't seen too much action in Colorado yet though.

I don't have a clue what that app is, but you can't go to Walden and not go to Corkles Mini Mart!

My family has a cabin up by Big Creek so I'm up that way pretty frequently and I used to only stop at the Corkles gas station, but now it seems like they own everything in town so I try and stop at the Sinclair instead.
