After buying a fridge at Overland Expo West, I came home and gave my old sleeping platform away. I then mounted the fridge in the bed of the truck and built a new platform that fit around where the fridge was mounted. I decided that I don't need the fridge in the back of my truck all the time. So yesterday I took some scrap pieces of wood and built another platform piece that fits where the fridge usually sits. Now I can still have the fridge mounted and keep the spare platform piece in the bed, then if I want to utilize the entire sleeping platform, I can just remove the fridge tie-downs, remove the fridge, and lay in the platform piece. In fact, the fridge can sit on the ground at camp and still be plugged in where I have the DC outlet mounted.

Terry the Adventure Pup approves of happing the full sleeping platform option back. He loves it back there. It's his own little den.

I haven't been able to drive my truck since the front shocks issue (see my post history), but I did get these today. Drained the transfer case so far.

That's a pebble I threw in the there. But the color looks like a really dark greenish/grayish cold.

I've done this with mine and after a year, the paint started chipping off the chrome plating. I'm slowly peeling off all the chrome plating so the primer will actually stick to it.

Basically my truck was taking longer than normal to turnover. It always started for me, but just started taking longer out of nowhere. There were literally dozens of possible causes for this based upon what other guys here and on Youtube were saying ... so I got lucky that a simple ECU reset fixed it for me.

Hope yours is a quick fix. If not check out the Tacomaworld thread that I linked to in the description. A ton of good info in there.

Replaced the stock grey fabric arm rests with black perforated vinyl. The grey fabric was so dirty and couldn’t get it clean. Hopefully the matching perforated vinyl will hold up better over time.
