Mid week would give us solitude onthe trails! I'd favor Harlan if it's dry. It'll be colder than the proverbial well diggers ass up in the mountains, but imagine the views with no leaves!

I have to finish and turn in my 2018 operating budget (@ work) to take off..but I'm about 2 days from being finished..

I have plenty of cold weather gear. I'll be sweaty at night...

I was planning on (If taking a solo trip) camping up in the hills away from lights, but honestly as long as I'm in the woods I'm happy

When we were @ Harlan last month, I was scoping out places to camp on the trails. Several great spots.

Yeah, bought and installed gussetted spindles, welded on TC alignment tabs, and poly bushings since. I might try to have glorifiedwelder (I think that's him) weld gussets on the old ones. The one is only tweaked, so he may be able to cold work it with the fixture he has. Then I'll have gussetted backups :D

I'm getting a popping noise in full lock turns now... I'm assuming it's the rack but I haven't looked into it yet and nothing has broke yet haha

I get some noise too. Mine may just be the cv's sliding though, I hope

Mine is a "clunk-pause- clunk-pause- clunk" at full lock while moving... not a sound that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, but it still works and everything is tight.

We had to nudge the rack over a hair to get the truck aligned-ish while I waited for the new spindles to come in. That's when it started I think. Rack could be screwed... but again, for the time being, it still works

    Ok.

Drive to Dirty Turtle and wish I'd stayed at home?

Drive to friends farm in Indiana and burn whole tank of gas +?

Be lazy and continue to do nothing?

    So many choices.

Mine will do it once of twice, not even full lock. Last time I had it on jacks, doing my brakes, I checked and everything is tight without leaks, etc.
Had hoped I wouldn't join the CV boot club yet, seems that was popular this year in our area.

My favorite option this time of year. I need to find a indoor hobby, I get so lazy and unmotivated in the winter.

I usually get outside regardless of weather. If it's not too windy, cold temps don't feel so cold.
