ToyTec stage 1 w/the swaybar relocator brackets. You'll need the brackets if your going 3" lift or less. The Eibach springs are 2" longer "w/close" to stock spring rate. :D

Thanks Ridingontrd.. you have my second Tacoma! :) I want a second one TRD Speedway blue like yours to go with my Radiant Red. Looks sharp, 1.75 in front, and .85 in back? Stock Springs? how does it change the ride. does it "feel" Taller?

In the next few months I'm getting my 5100s as well as a set of 265/75/16 Cooper Discoverer STT tires. Just burning off the last 5K or so miles on my tires...

OK, silly question but what color are these shocks? I see them in both the yellow and blue & silver and black. Am I mistaken? Thanks for any clarification.

non-adjustable in rear.. yah, duh.. ok, ok.. I pulled up next to a guy with the 265/75/16's on my rim.. Looked MUCH better than stock. His truck seemed a bit taller too, no lift or anything. One inch or so out of the suspension, and another out of bigger tires and I think I am all set. No need for the 3" lift although, lord knows I will be wanting it immediately following the initial changes..

    5100's will change the back?

ok guys silly question. I am thinking of going with the billy 5100 all he way around on my 05 prerunner. Does the added weight of a double cab make any diff in the ride or hight of the lift?
I also read in the FAQ stuff that if I go with the 5100's I should use my stock coils to avoid possible damage??? is this true or should I buy the coil over 5100? how much cutting is envolved if I go to 33's and how much MPG am I gonna loose. This forum is sweet thanks Guys Tommy

And true to his word, there are a lot of pics! Thanks so much for posting, it's very helpful to have these posted in this thread. I'm going to assume that it's at the 1.75 setting? Just wanted the specifics for reference. Thanks again!

Yes 1.75 and it sits exactly at 37 inches back and front to the fender flares. After the tsb thursday i think the rear may get higher, but right now it almost looks lower then the front. but the ride is way better and it does look better. Im going to get the trd wheels next summer with some big tires.

Yup, your lift is perfect for what I'm going after, I won't be going balls out and get a 3" lift cause I don't want to mess with other suspension items. I'm just looking for a little more height in the front so I don't feel so tiny. Hard coming from a lifted Tundra. Also, I'm either going to use blocks or an AAL in the rear if I don't feel like the rear came up enough. Thanks again for posting the detailed pics 106Tacoma, great reference!

You need a spring compressor, other then that basic hand tools, I took the front skid plate off and the front sway bar for the spring unit to have clearence to get out of the truck. Also i broke the front tie rods for even more clearence. I dont think its possible to slid the spring assembly out without doing that. Just simply take the nut off and then hit the actual spindel with a hammer a couple times and the tie rod end falls right out, Do not hit the tie rod itself! Spring asembly is really eassy to take apart, just use a set of vise grips to hold the top and wrench the nut off then take the assebly apart set your hight on your billys and put back together.

Nice photo's 106, thanks! hey.. how was your alignment afterwards?? Did you have positive Caster? I want to go 2.5, but do NOT want to lose positive caster.. what was your experience with the alignment after the Billy's?
