I’m also curious as to the gains they’ll actually get out of it. If they’re only talking 40-50 hp, to me that’s not worth 6 grand

 

There are some kits for the Honda S2000. They start around 5-6k and you get a solid 100hp bump at the rear wheels. Ideally these kits would do the same for a si liar price.

I find it laughable that these guys charge 5,000.00-6,000.00 dollars for a supercharger. The Ford 2.7 entire Ecoboost engine that has twin turbos in it is 6,000.00! Put that engine in a Tacoma and it would do wheelies!

Yeah 6k is alot of money for a super charger

you cant really compare them tbh. This Atkins cycle engine has 12 injectors and actually ejects air through the intake on the compression stroke. I think they are going to find it difficult to force induction an engine that ejects air through the intake on the compression stroke. I heard no one at Magnuson is happy about super charging the 3rd gen.

 

Just like no one that owns a 3rd gen is happy about how jumpy the automatic transmission is lol
