    Can’t decide between red dot w/ magnification or just a scope. It’ll be used for hunting but I hardly make a shot over 100 so the need for a high powered scope isn’t completely necessary.

    Don't cheap out on a scope is all I can say. If you get a cheap one with a shitty mount it will just vibrate itself loose and you'll hate it. A red dot with maybe 3x mag might do ya good for that 100 yard shot
