Do these tires run and quieter or smoother than BFG All Terrain T/A ?

 

Yes, the BFG Rugged Trail tires are quieter and somewhat smoother than the BFG All Terrain T/A KO2 as it is not as aggressive of a tread pattern.

Don't get the Rugged Fails, they are not good tires. Many better tires out there for the same price or cheaper.

What would you guys use in a17" tire for more street-ability rathrr than off road ?
(You got the T O O Many to choose from right!)

At this stage I would prefer smooth and quiet. Had some form of Cooper's in the past and don't recall any down side.

I've had enough of the KO's for now though...

 

I’ve had rugged trails on my 2nd gen, as well as my wife’s 4Runner and my dads 2nd gen as well. I upgraded to ko2’s, but they are still rocking them. They are a cheaper tire and will drive like it, very slippery in the rain not the best in the snow.. but lightweight, quiet as can be, and work fine on dry pavement. Just my .02
