That is seriously my garage door opener. No shit.

I haven't had a chance to work out a solution, but my TRD Pro Homelink doesn't play well with my 90s garage door opener for some reason. I had that broken garage door opener lying on my workbench, so I programmed it and threw it in the truck "temporarily". It's been a couple months now. If I must come up with a justification for this, I'd say it's a mix of Generation X apathy (from me) and Baby Boomer practicality (learned from pops).

    There's a whole procedure:
    1. Re-seat circuit board in bottom piece of opener case.
    2. Lightly lick the lateral side of thumb (or not enough contact)
    3. Bridge the contacts with side of thumb until red light flashes.

    Known issues:
    1. Circuit board not seated-->hard to make consistent contact as circuit board moves and light won't always come on.
    2. Too little saliva on thumb-->circuit not bridged adequately to trigger actuation.
    3. Too much saliva on thumb-->over activation and prolonged circuit bridge with attendant failed actuation.
    4. Drop the whole fucking setup on the floor while attempting to bridge circuit--> shouting choice profanity followed by picking up pieces from crotch and floor, swearing to god almighty that I'll look into getting Homelink to work, and restarting the opening procedure.

Looking forward to what is to come. Need more Switch locations. I saw this one awhile ago and saved it for possible future mod because I wasn’t sure I wanted to get rid of that pocket because it holds my keys. However, lately I just keep my keys in my pocket or jacket so I’m up for other ideas too.

I like how they added two more switches and the possibility of keeping the pocket. Interested to see what is to come

They quoted you $7,000 over MSRP for an SR?
I’d like to see some documentation because I don’t believe you.

I hope "Ill fitting" is good?
And yes, it's home made. I wanted to get the overall shape/clips down, then I can create holes for whatever I want..possibilities and configurations are endless:)

Ah, with the exchange rate that’s basically the same as US MSRP.

The frontier pro-4x up there is a fucking STEAL HOLY SHIT. The $32,390 is with $1000 off for paying cash, even if you finance and pay $33,390 that is $26,261 USD. Down here you have to get a crew cab to get manual in pro-4x, and it costs $33k+ USD.

I would’ve had a tough choice between taco/frontier if that Canadian price/configuration was available down here.
