There is a guy on here that makes and sells a good replacement for this issue. Also holds Yeti style containers....

    Cant remember his handle etc.

I'm wondering if its an auto trans kinda thing, with my manual configuration I haven't had a problem that way at all, in fact I have a hard time getting out, it take a good bit of tugging.

This happened to me all the time in my Nissan Frontier. Pissed me off every time.

i have the same problem. I actually haven't been able to find the left side holder for a few weeks now. I have to take them out from time to time for larger water bottles. might have to get a replacement part or put in a plastic piece like others have.

Keep enough other stuff in there that the holder cannot be used by anyone else. Problem solved at zero cost.

I used industrial velcro to attach the cup holders to the console. Works great, I can still remove them if I need to but cups won't pull them out anymore.

If I remember correctly he makes them to order. I had to wait for mine. Now that I have it, I love it

Why don’t you take the other one out for the full gallon?

    Go big or go home.
