Anyone down for some snow wheeling the first 2 weeks of Jan? I'm driving home to Truckee so I'll be in the area. I might be at Robertos down in Reno eating Mexican food everyday lol, this Montana Mexican food isn't the greatest. :hungry:

Never actually gone snow wheeling before, so put me down as a definite maybe.

Also how is Robertos? I’ve passed by but never stopped before.

I hear that the auto shifter knob has a m8 with 1.15 pitch thread. Anyone know this for sure? I want to put something more cool looking on there lol.

I think it is 8x1.25 , I will double check tomorrow. I have a tiny piston on my shifter out of a yamaha quad.

haha yeah I had a sweet typo in there but i meant 1.25 pitch. I have some bolts for my tent that are the same size. If I am not lazy today I can go to my storage unit and pop the knob off and check my self. Tell me its a banshee piston, lol. The banshee was so talked about when I was a kid on the quad scene lol. Over hyped in my option though.

Nope not a banshee piston. Just a little 125 4-stroke. Nothing special but it looks good and is the right size.

There's a taco truck on the corner of Golden Valley and N. Virginia that might be my favorite Mexican food in town.

Betos and Super Taqueria are my jams. Both have great pastor. I think Betos has my favorite 'salsa'

Roberto's is always a favorite too due to nostalgia. From 91-93 I worked at a pizza place next to Roberto's #2. We used to swap pizza for mexican food, it was awesome! Crazy to think that was when there were only two locations in Vegas, now there are a gazillion.

Side note. Working at that pizza place enabled me to save $5,500 which I subsequently spent on my first Toyota truck. A 1988 IFS pickup with a t4r-esque camper shell and 31s. I was in highschool and so proud of my truck I worked and saved up for. I slept in the drivers seat every night for like a week when I got it. :D

Hey guys, just moved from Santa Barbara (SoCal) to northern California for a few months before I make my final move to Minden/Gardnerville area, wondering what your guys think works best for cell phone companies/reception in that area?

I currently have Verizon and it worked great all over southern and central cali, but man its pretty bad coverage wise up here in northern cali. Thinking about swotching to At&T as thats what most everyone has where I currently am living, but don't want to have to switch back to Verizon if its much better in NV

    ...too much shit to list.
I have both AT&T and Verizon. It's really hit and miss depending on the area because of the mountains. Typically I have better LTE coverage and within city limits with AT&T. But Verizon typically has better 3g/4g especially when you are outside the city limits.

T mobile’s been good for me all over the northern half of the state, and at least in/near town in Minden/Gardnerville, Carson City, and Reno/Sparks I’ve had no problems with it.
