So my 2001 tacoma right front signal does not work. the right rear works but blinks fast and the left side is fine. I changed the bulb with no change in function. I bought a new relay because it was cheap and thought it couldnt hurt. I am not sure where to find the relay on my truck. Not really sure where to go from here to figure this out.

is there power to the front turn signal? It may just not be getting a good contact and or burned/melted contact.

replace the bulb with the other sides bulb or a known good one. The fast flashing is an indication of insuffient resistance in the wiring due to a bulb not working.

Clean the socket things do tend to corrode

If the rear flashes it is not the flasher .

Sounds like you have a short on the front wire. That causes the flasher relay to heat up really fast and gives you the very fast flash for the rear bulb. Start checking the wire harness from the front bulb on back.

could also be cut wire, since the front bulb isnt drawing any volts its causing the rear to flash quicker..
