Curious how many people have the TRD kit who wish they had more power from the URD/Rotex kit. I do a lot of towing up at high elevation so find myself wishing I had the added TQ down low in trade for less HP up top. On the highway and at higher rpm the URD kit screams but I’d rather just have more bottom end torque for my use around town. Anyone in the opposite situation?

I have the entire Stage 3 kit with 7th injector, headers, cam gears, etc etc.

We just keep on putting on smaller pulleys to get more power out of the TRD kit. :)

In all seriousness, a roots blower is going to offer better low end power and than a centrifugal supercharger which will be better at high end power, a roots blower is better suited for towing. That said, I'm not sure it would be worth swapping out one supercharger system for another.

Is your truck lifted? Larger tires? Heavy E-load tires? If you are running oversized tires, changing your gears can restore some low end torque.

Yeah, I’m lifted with load E 33’s. Seems like most don’t regear unless running 35’s. On a manual trans anyway. Is there anyone on here who would be interested in trading kits?

URD makes a supercharger for the taco? I've only seen the one for the fj. Or it doesn't matter?

Well the 2012 has the air injection system. Don't see a lot of fj cruisers.
